Daily Practices

Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays we practice  Sadhana (spiritual practice) at 5:15 AM in the morning, which involves chanting mantras, yoga and meditation. On Sundays we do Gayatri Mantra meditation at 6:00 AM. Tuesdays and Thursdays, in the afternoon, we perform a kirtan with Chandra,  which involves chanting mantras and deep meditation for spiritual ascension.

Right after we practice Seva (selfless work), which the seeker does as a devotional practice. Hence, it is vital the visitor´s contribution on it. Seva can vary from helping with cleaning, cooking and planting up to getting involved and cooperating with the construction of our Ashram, since we are still on the process of building it.

sadhana

Sadhana is a Sanskrit term that means daily spiritual practice. In the Ashram Matri Surya Unified Line we follow the practice of meditation linked to Kriya Hata Yoga and Kundalini Yoga.

We wake up very early, before the sun rises to salute and to thank the Light of a new day. Come join us in these moments of deep connection with the divine essence.

Starting time: 05:15 AM

This activity is free of charge.

Seva

Seva is a Sanskrit word meaning selfless service, performed by the seeker as a devotional practice. The selfless service connects us with something beyond ourselves, providing a break with our limitations and selfishness, allowing us to open our hearts to something different from what we are accustomed to.

Seva can range from cleaning and helping in the  kitchen to involvement in small taks forces and construction projects, as we are still building our space. It is indispensable that visitors collaborate in this regard.
